In the next 2 weeks, I have 2 graduations to attend! With graduation season quickly approaching, I decided to share some of my favorite graduation dresses I’ve found! These dresses can work if you’re the graduate who needs a last minute outfit or as someone who is just attending a friends graduation.
We have been having so much rain lately! Well, at least for Southern California. And though so many of my friends are just over the rain, I’m loving it. Everything is so green and beautiful and there’s just something about getting a big comfy blanket and watching good movie on Netflix. But unfortunately, I can’t do that all day long because I have to go to work, so I decided to share with you all some of my favorite rainy day essentials!
(1) Fuzzy Socks – Cute socks that keep your feet nice and warm. Need I say any more? / (2) Bubble Umbrella – There’s something fun about having a big cute umbrella. Though it may be a pain to store it, at least you’ll be well protected. / (3) North Face Rain Jacket – I absolutely love North Face. And their ran jacket is no exception. It comes in adorable colors (loving this one right now!), and if you wear a women’s small, you can even get away with a kids XL! / (4) Hunter Rain Boots – Though they’re pricy, you can usually find them at a really great deal if you just look around! I’ll be honest- I spent about two years looking around for a color I really liked and a price I felt okay paying.
I originally had a couple posts scheduled so they will post Monday-Friday, however I was having difficulty with getting my blog to actually show up through the URL. So now that I got it all figured out, we’re back to normal scheduling!
Today it finally feels like fall! I kept a sweater on all day and was even wishing I had worn a thicker sweater and boots to work! So I guess it’s time to really start looking for a few fun fall wardrobe inspiration pins from Pinterest. Here’s some of my favorite looks that I’ve found so far.
Is it just me, or is it harder to get out of bed the colder it gets? I know it’s really not that cold here in Pasadena in comparison to other parts of the country, or the world even. But for me being a girl who has lived in Southern California for the past 6 going on 7 years, anything below 70 degrees is cold.
That being said, coming up with a warm but cute outfit (and also affordable!) while you’re running late because you keep pressing snooze is can be overwhelming when you just don’t have the time to throw something together. So I thought I’d share with you one of my easy go-to outfits when I press snooze one too many times and I have to leave for work as the sun is rising.
Photos taken by Jodie Arumi. Side note: Jodie did end up taking a ton of photos, however her subject – a.k.a. me, was being a punk and did not do a good enough job participating, meaning I was either making some weird face or doing something weird. So enjoy these blooper photos.
