Farmer’s Markets

This summer is just flying by! It’s hard to believe that this upcoming week is the last week of work until the school year starts up again.  I’m really excited for the upcoming school year since I’ll also be able to add “Job Coach” to my resume!  This summer I’ve had a very strange schedule, as I’ve been working mornings and getting off of work at 12. I now have so much respect for those who teach swim lessons though. It’s exhausting, and I’m not even the swim teacher! But being in the pool, despite the very cold mornings (65 degrees?!), it’s been nice to be in the water today.

Yesterday, Shawn and I took the Metro out to South Pasadena with a few of his co-workers, and we went to the Farmer’s Market!  The fruit was so good and we got to taste lots of samples, listen to good music, and eat lots of free food.  The weather was perfect! We ended up sitting around on the lawn, visiting with each other and watching the balloon guy make these awesome balloon creations, which included many super soaker balloons.

Seriously, if you live in the area, go check it out!  I liked it because it wasn’t a huge farmer’s market and wasn’t too crowded.

A few things that I am looking forward to in the next few weeks, include hanging out with friends I haven’t seen in awhile, going home to visit my family in San Jose, going on a mini vacation with my family, and the Taylor Swift concert coming up in August!
